We believe the story of Jesus changes everything. It changes lives. It changes families. It changes communities. It changes cultures. It changes the world.
It has always been our desire to create a church environment that would allow us to tell the story of Jesus while also matching the DNA of our community. Intergenerational. Relaxed. Modern with respect for traditions. Family oriented.
The vision took shape in 2005 when WayPoint Church Partners (at that time called the Virginia Evangelizing Fellowship), targeted the upper James City County area for a new church. Many churches from all over Virginia helped to support the creation of this new church that would be called LifePointe. On September 17, 2006 we celebrated our first service at Stonehouse Elementary School.
In 2018, we purchased a 10-acre horse farm in Toano to serve as the location of our first campus that opened in November 2021. During our short history, we have celebrated families being restored. We've sent teams to Mexico who have built homes for the homeless and supported new missionary ventures globally. We plan to continue to see lives changed because of the incredible story of Jesus.
